Domain Controller DCPromo with NetBIOS over TCP/IP Disabled

While this warning is pretty generic and can caused by a lot of other reasons, it was interesting to see that this error applies to a Windows 2008 R1 server if you have the "NetBIOS over TCP/IP" radio button set to disabled.

Warning message:

A Delegation for this DNS server cannot be created because the authoritative parent zone cannot be found or it does not run Windows DNS server. To enable reliable DNS name resolution from outside the domain "domain.com", you should create a delegation to this DNS server manually in the parent zone.

Do you want to continue?
